The terms on which we offer Talea hardware and subscriptions.
Overview
These terms govern your purchase and use of Talea products and services. By pre-ordering or using Talea, you agree to them. If you're buying on behalf of a business, you confirm you're authorised to do so.
Pre-orders & hardware
Talea is currently offered on a pre-order basis and ships in launch order. The Talea 1.0 box is a one-off purchase; the Founders Edition includes the box with your first month free. Stock, in particular the first 100 Founders Edition boxes, is limited and allocated on a first-come basis.
Subscription & payment
Talea includes a subscription of £20 per month following any free period. Payments are handled securely by Stripe. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period; we don't provide partial refunds for time already elapsed unless required by law.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Talea lawfully and not to misuse, interfere with, or attempt to disrupt the service or the hardware. The Talea box and software remain our intellectual property; your purchase grants you the right to use them as intended.
Liability
We provide Talea with reasonable care and skill, but to the extent permitted by law we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Questions? Email hello@trytalea.com.
